The Founder
Ahmad Alashri is an ambitious entrepreneur who has lived in four different countries and traveled to many others throughout his adult life. His unique upbringing made him passionate about understanding different cultures and habits and how environment and religion interact and influences those cultures.
Ahmad has made it his life mission to portray a modernized image of how Islam should be perceived and understood in this modern world by giving an example of a successful business model where technology can be levered to serve Muslims in their religious worship by providing a practical solution to tackle today’s challenges that prevent the vast majority of Muslims from having physical access to Holy Mecca. He always says that religion and business can go hand in hand and make the world a better place.
His vision has been influenced by his knowledge of the modern challenges humanity face on a global level and his sense of duty coming from his Islamic beliefs that Muslims should contribute to addressing these challenges and be part of the solution. In addition to providing a substitute for those who have physical challenges and can not perform the Umrah, he also sees Labbayk as an alternative that contributes to the global efforts to reduce carbon emissions by minimizing the necessity to travel to perform Umrah while keeping it accessible to as many Muslims as possible.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a practical example of how the two fundamental pillars of Islamic values can be applied in a business:
• Worshipping Allah
• Earth prosperity
Our Mission
We would achieve our vision by investing in any opportunity that would create value to prosper earth or fulfill a spiritual need.
Labbayk & ESG
In today’s world, ignoring the global challenges surrounding our environment and humanity is nearly impossible as it affects all of us on multiple levels. Climate change and carbon emissions are among the biggest challenges we are facing as human beings, yet the question is how to provide value and sustain successful businesses while addressing and tackling such challenges.
At Labbayk, we do not believe in big empty words. We believe that small efforts make a big difference when combined. We seek to not only reduce the carbon footprint by minimizing travel through our solution, but we are also driven to achieve a green business environment by striving for a paperless workplace, minimal offices, and energy consumption, remote work if possible, and encouraging plastic-free ethics among our team. These efforts may appear trivial. However, it is essential to our moral code that these small habits are implemented in our daily life to make a better change and positive impact globally in the foreseeable future.
We also believe that sharing our small efforts and raising awareness of it could create a positive impact globally when enough humans join those efforts to achieve the same goals.
